The last two months has been a whirlwind of change – all for the better! I’m happy with the way life is progressing for me now and excited to see what the next few months have in store.
So, what’s been happening?
I started a new job! – I’m now a copywriter for The Range. I write product descriptions for the website, articles, email text, and SEO landing page text. I’ve been in this job for 6 weeks now and settled in nicely. I’m enjoying it so far and my writing for the website has already been quoted in The Sun.
Booked a long weekend away – A small thing but a big thing for me! Living with anxiety for years meant that I often denied myself opportunities. But I bit the bullet and booked a trip away to France for a long weekend in October. I’m super excited to be getting away for a few days, relaxing and exploring a new city.
Started on a new weight loss plan – After a recent trip to the GP, I decided it was time to really knuckle down and lose weight for my health. I’ve got a lot of health conditions that I’ve been struggling with since I was a teenager, and I’ve piled on the weight since my diagnosis. I’m now on a WW plan and using Slimfast. Whilst losing weight is a main goal, I am not on a diet. I’m making healthy lifestyle changes. I’ve only been on this plan for a week and a bit and I’m already feeling the benefits.
I’ve started painting – I’m not very good at it, I’ll be honest. But I’m enjoying the pastime and I love being able to try something new. I’ve also had the courage to paint straight on to canvas, ignoring the fear of imperfections and mistakes.
And finally, I’m now available to commission for freelance work – Got a CV or cover letter you’d like written or edited? Would you like SEO text for your website? Do you need somebody to proofread your essay or need your book formatted or edited? Would you even like me to write a guest blog post? Whatever writing task you’d like doing, I’m available for a fair price through People Per Hour.
How has the last few months been treating you? Have you had any exciting changed in your life? If so, I’d love to hear about them!
